Easter is on the brink of ruin! Tired of the tyrany of of the Bunny King and Queen, A Ultra Cool Bunny has rose up in the background rallying any bunny that will listen to it (Being pretty cool, it wasn’t hard to get a lot of bunnies!) to take over easter! They raided the stash of Easter eggs and sent them flying all over Talking Island.

Event Details

You are tasked with the goal of hunting the the bunnies of Talking Island and getting the eggs back! They can drop different colored Easter eggs that are worth different amounts of points. These points can be turned in by expanding the event menu on the right and choosing "Turn In Items". It will then consume all Easter Egg items (for this event) and reward you with points and items you have earned by accumulating those points. Additionally it will reward you randomly with buffs according to the eggs you turned in. These Buffs stack with each other and themselves, allowing you to increase the duration. Furthermore they do save when you log out and will restore themselves when you log back in.

Easter Blessing Buffs

These buffs are obtained randomly when turning in easter items. They are saved when you logout and the timers stack when turning in. You can also get these buffs from using the Mystery Easter Candy (mentioned later in this post), however the candy will not increase your buff timer if over one hour, while the turn in bonus will.

Bunny Egg Blessing - Green: This buff adds +10 Battlegrounds PvP Defence

Bunny Egg Blessing - Blue: This buff adds +10 Battlegrounds PvP Damage

Bunny Egg Blessing - Red: This buff adds +1 Point for each Event Point item turned in

Bunny Egg Blessing - Purple: This buff adds +10 Battlegrounds PvP Base Damage

2020 Bunny Loyalty Gear

So every year, the Bunny gear is rolled out with fresher and newer versions. This year is no different! You can craft this gear using the Frintezza’s Seamstress npc located in SKT and Aden. The menus have changed a bit to make them more organized and cleaner. You can craft the base bunny items using materials gained from hunting on Talking Island. These base items can then be used to craft or be upgraded to loyalty items, using Easter Loyalty Seal - 2020. You can get these seals temporarily from Ives’ shop. Here are some major changes in the Loyalty Bunny items this year:

• All loyalty gear (except the golden egg jewel) has 40 soul levels
• Levels 31- 40 give decent amounts of PEN/RES for each item
• Levels 31- 40 DO NOT require Limit Breaks to level up.
• Each piece (including the golden egg) add +1 to Battlegrounds PvP BASE damage
• The Golden Egg adds 60 PEN and 10 RES now

So acquiring this set would be helpful for pvp in the battlegrounds zones, which most of this event takes place in! Here is the list of Loyalty Items added this year, click on them for more details:

New Items added

Mystery Easter Candy - This candy when consumed gives you a random Bunny Egg Blessing. It will not increase the buff timer beyond the 1 hour it gives. If your buff timer for the buff it gives is less than one hour, it will become 1 hour. If it is more than one hour, it will not change it. You can use this item as many times as you would like until you get the desired bunny buff. Just try not to get an upset tummy! Ives has these in his shop for those interested!

Easter Loyalty Seal - 2020 - This item can be used to upgrade base bunny equipment into 2020 Loyalty bunny equipment that can be leveled up and has loads of benefits. You can get these from Ives.

Bunny Bag - 2020 - This bag contains a random material to craft bunny gear. It also has a chance to give a Mystery Easter Candy. These can be obtained by turning in points or directly from Ives’ shop.

Green Easter Egg - This Easter egg is dropped by the bunnies on Talking Island. It rewards you with one point and can trigger the Green Easter Blessing Buff.

Blue Easter Egg - This Easter egg is dropped by the bunnies on Talking Island. It rewards you with two points and can trigger the Blue Easter Blessing Buff.

Red Easter Egg - This Easter egg is dropped by the bunnies on Talking Island. It rewards you with three points and can trigger the Red Easter Blessing Buff.

Purple Easter Egg - This Easter egg is dropped by the bunnies on Talking Island. It rewards you with four points and can trigger the Purple Easter Blessing Buff.

Bug Fixes

• The bug preventing characters from being deleted is now fixed.
• A bug causing the time left on buffs when logging in showing the wrong amount of time is fixed
• A text glitch in buff timers has been fixed
• More weight bugs have been fixed
• Many bugs related to spawns and re-spawning have been fixed

I’m gonna start this post by making it clear, I’m not an expert on COVID-19 or viruses of any kind. Additionally I’m not gonna make a heavy handed post trying to tell you how to live your life or anything like that. Instead to raise awareness to the things that are widely recommended to slow the spread of this virus, I have put in an event to remind and reward those behaviors.

Event Details

Hand Soap - When you use this item you begin to wash your hands, giving you the washing hands buff. If you take a step it will remove this buff and all effects. You can obtain these from the vitality priestess, which costs Vitality, a currency earned just by being online.

Washing Hands Buff - This buff lasts for 20 seconds. Long enough for you to clean your hands in real life. After this 20 seconds is over, it will give you a new buff called Clean Hands.

Clean Hands Buff - This buff lasts for 1 hour and provides +10% EXP and SXP gains to reward you for properly washing your hands.

Social Distancing Buff - Every hour when vitality triggers, if you are not in a party, you will get this buff for one hour. If you join a party you’ll lose this buff. While you have this buff you’ll get +10% EXP and SXP.

Buff Icons!

• Happy buffs now have their icons again (yay). These icons also appear when you login with happy buffs and reflect the current time left.
• T5 Buffs now have buff icons when active
• Dragon Elixirs and Potions now have buff icons
• Dragon Essences now have buff icons
• Nightmare Essences now has a buff icon
• Spirit and Soul Smooth Shots now have buff icons
• Christmas Joy has a buff icons
• Sky Castle Rune buffs now have proper icons (all 24 of them)
• Tier Ease Now has a buff icon which has a description of the level of ease

Bug Fixes

• Hot-keyed consumables no longer disappear from the hot-bar when consuming the first one.
• Fixed a bug with Gran Kain T-Shirt where it wouldn’t get benefits past +9
• Fixed a bug with Maphr shirt’s stun resistance past +15
• Removed all weight values, making weight always at 0% to prevent weight bugs from blocking the use of spells or abilities.

Other Changes

• Kernon’s Faithful Serverant Kelone has been moved to upper blazing swamp so it doesn’t kill the new players when dragged to the entrance.

• The Food Meter is now considered the PvP combat points meter. UI for the game is changed to reflect this.

Event Story

The Succubus Queen caught the Nightmare King (her beloved) sneaking off to the mainland to have an affair with one of the Goddesses of Creation. Nothing is more scary than a Succubus except for an angry, jealous Succubus, out for blood.

If she can’t be happy with the one she loves, she decided no one can. She ordered her underlings to raid the royal postal system (Talking Island) and steal all of the valentines meant for all of those so called “happy” couples.

This is where -You- come in. You’ve been tasked by the Goddess of Creation Einhasad herself to retrieve these valentines and restore them to their rightful lovers. She is willing to reward you greatly for your time and efforts.

Event Details

Using Heart weapons, you are tasked with the goal of hunting the Succubi located on Talking Island. They can drop many different valentine items that are worth different amounts of points. These points can be turned in by Expanding the Event Menu on the right and choosing Turn In Items. It will then consume all Valentine items (for this event) and reward you with points and items you have earned by accumulating those points.

Heart Weapons and Enchantments

Heart Dagger - Has a base damage of 1/1 against a Succubus. You can obtain it from the Vitality Priestess.

Heart Sword - Has a base damage of 5/5 against a Succubus. You can obtain it randomly from a Heart Chest.

Heart Axe - Has a base damage of 5/5 against a Succubus. You can obtain it randomly from a Heart Chest.

Heart Edoryru - Has a base damage of 5/5 against a Succubus. You can obtain it randomly from a Heart Chest.

Heart Staff - Has a base damage of 5/5 against a Succubus. You can obtain it randomly from a Heart Chest.

Heart Large Sword - Has a base damage of 5/5 against a Succubus. You can obtain it randomly from a Heart Chest.

Heart Bow - Has a base damage of 3/3 against a Succubus. You can obtain it randomly from a Heart Chest.

Heart Enchantment Scroll - This scroll only works on Heart weapons and has a chance to increase the weapon by +1 or fail and blow up the weapon. Each +1 the weapon gets, multiplies the base damage by 2.5. You can get these from the Heart Chest or individually from Ives located in Valhalla (-shop)

Heart Chest - This box contains random chances at each of the Heart Weapons (except dagger) as well as a guaranteed Heart Enchant Scroll. You can get these from Ives or as rewards for turning in points.

Event Rewards

Maphr’s Love - New mysterious Jewel with special Earthly properties. Obtainable by reaching 500 points. Once obtained also increases your event rank to Level 1 granting a single heart by your name when you chat.

Eva’s Love - New mysterious Jewel with special Watery properties. Obtainable by reaching 1500 points. Once obtained also increases your event rank to Level 2 granting two hearts by your name when you chat.

Sayha’s Love - New mysterious Jewel with special Windy properties. Obtainable by reaching 2500 points. Once obtained also increases your event rank to Level 3 granting three hearts by your name when you chat.

Paa’grio’s Love - New mysterious Jewel with special Burning properties. Obtainable by reaching 5000 points. Once obtained also increases your event rank to Level 4 granting four hearts by your name when you chat.

There are many other rewards and the reward table is still being edited. It includes many high value items like Limit break devices and protection enchant scrolls. When any new rewards are added below the point threshold you’ve already reached, you will automatically receive them in your inventory.

Smooth Shots

The new client has been causing lag issues with soul shot usage, to address this issue a new format of Soul Shots have been invented by the alchemists that live in the Tower of Insolence. Dranoc now sells these new shots for Adena on TOI floor 1.

The new shots when used give you a 10 minute buff that will cause your damage to be boosted as if you were using soul shots, without having to consume them every single attack or spell cast. The damage boost is the same and you will not consume normal soul shots regardless of them being turned on or not while you have this buff. This should prevent the lag associated with normal soul shot usage.

Unlike traditional Soul Shots and Spirit Shots, Smooth Shots do not have a grade and work with all grades equally.

Smooth Shot - Soul - This Smooth Shot applies the 50% damage boost of Soul Shots to all physical (ranged and melee) attacks for the 10 minute duration.

Smooth Shot - Spirit - This Smooth Shot applies the 50% damage boost of Spirit Shots to all magical spells for the 10 minute duration.

The Third Class (aka 2nd SubClass)

Over the past couple of years I’ve had the honor of welcoming 75 people to Tier 5 by hand delivering their Soul Key. More recently the issue has been rising that many of these T5 players have reached a limit due to reaching the caps on both their main and sub classes. To always encourage growth I decided it is time to extend this cap and allow a 2nd Sub Class.

The benefits of leveling this third class is that you’ll be able to obtain more Elixir Passes allowing you to extend your base stats further by getting more Omega Elixirs.

This third class can be any of the 8 current classes (including the alpha Warrior class). The link for the 9th class Fencer is there, but won’t work until a future update.

Quest Details

You can talk to Hermuncus located in Valhalla (-shop) and choose to Add a Class. This will allow you to create the item required to create your 3rd class. Here are the required items:

Enlightened Destiny - Extend your Destiny using this new charged ore crafted by bringing the many materials required to Hermuncus . This item extends your character to allow it to have a 2nd subclass aka the third class.

Corrupted Golem Stones - This is one of the common materials required to craft Enlightened Destiny. Bring to Hermuncus in Valhalla.

Corrupted Flower Branch - This is one of the common materials required to craft Enlightened Destiny. Bring to Hermuncus in Valhalla.

Corrupted Flower Roots - This is one of the common materials required to craft Enlightened Destiny. Bring to Hermuncus in Valhalla.

Empowered Centipede’s Carapace - This is one of the common materials required to craft Enlightened Destiny. Bring to Hermuncus in Valhalla.

Empowered Dire Tiger Fur - This is one of the common materials required to craft Enlightened Destiny. Bring to Hermuncus in Valhalla.

Empowered Dire Wolf Pelt - This is one of the common materials required to craft Enlightened Destiny. Bring to Hermuncus in Valhalla.

Resistance Ruby - This is one of the rare materials required to craft Enlightened Destiny Dropped by a boss in the Resistance Tunnels area in the Underworld. Bring to Hermuncus in Valhalla.

Evolved Bat Wing - This is one of the rare materials required to craft Enlightened Destiny Dropped by a boss in the Resistance Tunnels area in the Underworld. Bring to Hermuncus in Valhalla.

Ancient Power Source - This is one of the rare materials required to craft Enlightened Destiny Dropped by a boss in the Giant’s Grave area in the Underworld. Bring to Hermuncus in Valhalla.

Other Recent Changes

Site Option for Low Graphics Mode added. This reduces some of the animations that happen while attacking to reduce lag.

The Dwarven Emissary has been spawned on each of the “Entrance to the Underworld” floors allowing you to finish and start the next quest on each floor without having to leave for each floor.
