Evil Relics from wasteland give x mats, but turning in the Ancient Coins or Ancient Totems does not give any x mats, just basic elven crafting mats, like fairy dust and ala of fairy, which aren't really used, with the exception of a few items. They do, however, give out Material Requisition Tokens.
